St. Nicolas church

A Baroque jewel.
The St. Nicolas church in Prague embodies the beauty of the Old Town. The religious building was constructed on the site of a Romanesque church between 1732 and 1739. The dome as well as the two towers around it are easily recognisable with their characteristic bronze colour. The interior and outer architecture is distinctive of the architect Kilián Ignác Dienzenhofe, a rightful representative of Czech Baroque.
