Prague Astronomical Clock

More than just telling the time.
The Astronomical Clock is one of the most symbolic monuments of Prague. It was built in 1410 and set on the Town Hall, on the Old Town Square. It strikes every hour until 9pm with a rather special show involving little moving puppets. You may not be able to tell what time it is from the clock, however, as it shows the position of the sun and moon, its face resembling an astrolabe. The 12 Apostles, Death, a Turk, Avarice and Vanity pop out on the hour, don't miss the chance to take a picture!
