Prague is the capital of dance.
The annual dance festival and competition attracts the cream of youth dance companies and choreographers from around the world to Prague.
All categories are represented: classical, contemporary dance, hip hop, jazz, Latin and more. Creating a platform dedicated to dance, the festival allows dancers, teachers, coaches and choreographers to meet and exchange.
Focusing on amateur companies, dance schools and young artists, the festival is a springboard for many dancers and doing well in the competition can mean international recognition. But the competition is fierce as the festival attracts an impressive number of candidates, with the jury composed of the most experienced professionals from the best international dance academies.
